Lyrath Estate

I have photographed many weddings at Lyrath Estate. Conveniently located just outside Kilkenny City off the M9 Motorway. ‘A luxurious five-star hotel in the medieval heart of Ireland’. Woodstock Gardens, Inistioge

Woodstock Gardens and Arboretum are located in the South East of County Kilkenny, just outside the picturesque village of Inistioge. The pristine parklands and gardens overlook the Nore Valley, the calmness and serenity of this woodland offers a most relaxing and beautiful environment in which to have your wedding photographs taken. Woodstock is blessed with options including the arboretum, walled garden, terraced garden, yew walk and rose garden. Take a stroll down Monkey Puzzle Avenue or lose yourself down the majestic Noble Fir Avenue.

Discovery Park, Castlecomer

Set in the former grounds of the Wandesforde Estate, Castlecomer Discovery Park comprises 80 acres of stunning natural woodland and lakes and began as a community project to rejuvenate the town of Castlecomer following the closure of the coal mines in 1969’. Re-opened to the public in 2007 hosting among others the Design Craft studios located in the former stable yard. The Park boasts numerous locations perfect you and your wedding party. How about the the apt named Lovers Lake for your wedding photo backdrop or let loose and fool around by the Fairy Village set amid gigantic red woods. This national park really has it all, located just outside the village of Castlecomer (approx 25 minutes from Kilkenny City).
